It really gets my imagination going and I spend hours looking for photos that capture not only the right cake, or flowers but also the right feeling.I wanted to create a simple, clean yet very classy wedding with a feminine touch.  September Gray was inspired by one of my brides that is getting married at Shutters in September. It's not until the wedding day that all these elements will be together, but while going through the wedding planning process I like to help create an event that is cohesive, seamless yet enchanting.

A Regal Affair: Beautiful Wedding Rings

One of my favorite obsessions beyond wedding planning is jewelry so naturally I'm always looking and obsessing over wedding rings.

When I got my beautiful wedding ring I was so traditional in my taste, all I wanted was a white round diamond on a simple diamond pave band, now only three years later I find myself loving yellow stones and diamonds in the rough.   Here are a few of my favorites:

A Regal Affair: Taglyan Cultural Center

I've been feeling the heat of wedding season and loving it. Helping a client look for a venue is one of my favorite part of wedding planning. It was a bit of  a challenge, but that's what makes my job fun. The requirements were 250 guests, indoor ceremony and reception, outside catering, budget friendly, and of course it had to be unique and beautiful.  Seher and I spent hours researching, oohing and awing but it was the Taglyan Cultural Complex that stole her heart. It's really a beautiful venue located mere blocks from the world famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine. I consider it to be one of the best kept secret venues in Los Angeles. If you are looking for an indoor venue, I would highly recommend that you check it out.

 The Taglyan Grand Ballroom sparkles with cascading crystal chandeliers and a 5,000 square-foot, circular stained glass ceiling. This mesmerizing ballroom can be programmed to shift colors with an elaborate lighting system.

Real Wedding Inspiration: Rustic Ranch Wedding

Fresh peaches, canned peaches, old shutters, homemade table runners and wildflowers lined the gorgeous tables of this inspirational wedding from Cater and Cook Event Co.. A perfect ranch setting, everything was kept rustic yet simply beautiful. Their dessert table was filled with fresh peach and apple pies, homemade cookies and such a perfect cake. All of the details are just stunning. Enjoy these lovely images.

Spanish Style Wedding

One of our clients is having a spanish inspired wedding, and I'm in love with this table setup. I just love and adore fruits in centerpieces, a little touch of lavender would really complete this look for my client. The gorgous flowers were created by Flushdesigns

Back from the expo!

 Just got back from the expo at the Hilton. We made lots of  new friends, tons of pretty brides to be and future hubby's. Allison and I started setting up at 8 am, and by 11 we were really proud of our booth. The rest of our team arrived and Jason Sulkin my friend and a wonderful guitarist played tunes.
I can't wait till I can post some pics.  The favors, cake bites, and the personalized chocolate were a BIG hit. I will follow up with lots and lots of photos.
